Pols scramble to finalize casino bill

Deadline-driven lawmakers are in an eleventh-hour race against the calendar, hoping to finally send a high-stakes casino gambling bill to Gov. Deval Patrick’s desk by Wednesday, the last day before their generous two-month holiday break — and critics are predicting chaos.
