Angela Brooks, Chief of Staff
Biography: A native of Dorchester and West Roxbury and a graduate of the Boston Public Schools, Angela comes to us by way of Harvard Law School and Ropes & Gray LLP. In addition to her Chief of Staff duties, she serves as chief legal writer and advisor and manages policy work relating to three of Sen. Chang-Díaz’s committee assignments, including Sen. Chang-Díaz’s work as Chair of the Joint Committee on Education.
Legislative Issues: Bonding, capital expenditures, and state assets; economic development; education; ethics and rules; post audit and oversight; telecommunications, utilities, and energy; and tourism, arts, and cultural development.
