Sibusisiwe Malaba, Legislative Aide
Serving as Legislative Aide, Sibusisiwe or “Sibu” is responsible for constituent casework services and policy and budget matters. Hailing from the city of Lawrence, MA, Sibu moved to Boston to attend Emmanuel College, located in the Fenway neighborhood. Sibu joins the Senator’s office after working as a nonprofit fundraiser and campaign organizer for various state and local campaigns. Sibu is both a Diversity in Civic Leadership Fellow and a 2011 New Leaders Council Fellow. She is a resident of Dorchester and, in addition to her passion for politics, she also enjoys nineties music!
Constituency Services & Legislative Issues: Animal Rights; Children, Families and Persons with Disabilities; Election Laws; Redistricting, State Administration & Regulatory Oversight; Youth Violence; Mental Health and Substance Abuse; and Veteran and Federal Affairs.
